We have selected a list of frequently asked questions related to the use of our system.

Our solutions are customized for individual user needs – from front-end design, attribute stylization, personalization of reports to creating a completely new organizational chart logic.

Each organization is specific and has its own way of working. We try to adapt our solutions to make it as easy as possible for you to perform daily activities, taking into account your current way of working.
pipGIS® is interoperable which means it is easy to connect to other IT systems via an API connection. In the system it is possible to display data of various sensors, traffic cameras, measuring stations, accounting software in real time.

pipGIS® has the potential to represent a central business system of an organizational unit because it integrates data into a unique base which is easy to handle.
You can use the system regardless of location and time - all you need is an Internet connection and you can access it via computer, smartphone or tablet.

For easier navigation in the field, we have designed an application that is free for all our users and can be downloaded in the web store (App Store, Google Play).
pipGIS® is characterized by advanced user authority management that allows restriction of access and editing of individual data.

With clearly defined hierarchical scheme, there is no room for data misuse - the system administrator grants rights to view, edit and comment on items to users who have the authority to do so.

Data can be shared in 2 ways:

  • Exporting data from the system - each data can be exported from the system in the desired format (.xlsx, .PDF, .shp, .gpkg, .dxf...)

  • Opening an account with admin restrictions - if you only want to allow some users to view your data, you can open a user account with limited data access rights. Most often, the data is grouped by departments, where contractors or maintainers are allowed to participate in business interaction.
Regular system maintenance includes:
  • Providing professional customer support
  • Elimination of reported errors
  • Delivery of new (improved) versions of software products
  • Administration of installed database and other products
  • Regular backup of the database stored in the system
  • Web server hosting for database storage and application operation
pipGIS® system is easy to use and does not require extensive IT knowledge which makes it suitable for work in any sector. The user-oriented front-end makes it your main tool in conducting daily business activities.

Since there are many tools and opportunities it provides, in addition to the implementation of the system, we offer training that includes practical training of employees with a recommended duration of 2 hours.

Training covers all the tools and functionalities of the entire system that contains the basic tools for entering, updating and viewing spatial data.
